OUR STORY

THE BEGINNING
As a mom with teenagers, I was getting frustrated with the nightly discussions about 'the homework.' How many times have you asked your student "how much homework do you have tonight?" Usually they answer with the word "some" because they really do not know. Your student is overwhelmed with the demands of school, sports, extracurricular activities, and friends. They are doing their best to manage but without a system, something to give them the big picture of their week, they are lost. As parents, we have the best intentions for our children so we jump in and try to figure it out. However, this is not helping them become independent and take responsibility. When students miss assignments or forget to study for a test, their grades begin to slide downward and so does their self esteem.
